Education software that works on the devices students actually own

Learning platforms fail for unglamorous reasons: they are slow on a mid-range phone, they assume a stable connection, and they were designed for the administrator rather than the student. We build for the opposite case.

Education software company in Bangladesh

Codebumble builds education software for schools, colleges and training institutes in Bangladesh and beyond: institution websites, student databases, admissions systems, student and parent portals and learning platforms. Everything is built to work on a mid-range phone and a slow connection, and to handle Bangla properly, not just display it.

We built the website and student database for Dinajpur Textile Institute, which has run for three years and serves more than two thousand students. If a ready-made system fits, our School & College Management system starts at $149 a month. If it does not, we build what your institution needs.

The problem

School management software that is hard to use every day

Institutional software is usually bought on a feature list and lived with for a decade. The result is a system where enrolling a student takes fourteen clicks, the parent portal is unusable on a phone, and half the staff keep a private spreadsheet because it is faster than the official process. The features were all present. The daily experience was never designed.

What our edtech platforms service includes

Learning platforms and course delivery

Course structure, lessons, assignments and assessment, with progress that a student can see and a teacher can act on.

Student and parent portals

Results, attendance, fees and announcements in one place, designed mobile-first because that is the only device most families will use.

Admissions and enrolment

Online applications, document upload, review workflow and offers, replacing the email-and-spreadsheet process most institutions are still running.

Institution websites

Fast, accessible public sites for schools, colleges and training providers, with the prospectus, news and admissions funnel that recruitment depends on.

Integration with what you already run

Existing student records, payment providers, identity systems and reporting requirements, connected rather than replaced where replacing would be reckless.

Our approach

How we run edtech platforms engagements

  1. Tested with real students and staff during a term

Enrolment week, results day and fee deadlines are when these systems break. We design around the peaks and the edge cases, because those are the days that decide whether staff trust the software.

  2. Built for the worst device on the network

A mid-range Android phone on a slow connection is the baseline we test against, not the exception. Everything else is comfortably fast by consequence.

  3. Accessible because it has to be

Education software has a legal and moral obligation here that a marketing site does not. WCAG 2.2 AA, keyboard operation and screen-reader testing are part of the build rather than a remediation project afterwards.

EdTech Platforms in practice

Education 2023

Getting an institute back in control of its own website

The institute had lost the credentials to its own hosting, domain and WordPress site, so nobody could update it and nobody could secure it. We replaced it with a site the staff control, and the student database WordPress was never going to give them.
