Invoicing and billing built around how you charge

Off-the-shelf invoicing works until your pricing stops being simple. Retainers, milestones, part-payments, multiple currencies and a tax rule that depends on the client's country are where it breaks, and where this starts.

Invoicing and billing software from $3 a month

Codebumble's Invoicing & Billing system handles quotes, one-off and recurring invoices, multiple currencies, tax rules, online payments and automatic payment reminders, with a portal where clients see what they owe. It is built for businesses whose billing has outgrown a document template and a spreadsheet.

Plans start at $3 a month, with hosting, updates, backups and support included. Clients can pay invoices through bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz and ShurjoPay in Bangladesh, or by card and PayPal through Stripe and PayPal anywhere else. It is built and supported by our team in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for businesses worldwide.

What it replaces

A template, a spreadsheet, and someone chasing payment by email

Invoicing usually runs on a document template, a spreadsheet tracking what has been sent, and one person who remembers who has not paid. It works at ten invoices a month. At a hundred it produces silent revenue leakage: invoices that were never sent, part-payments recorded in the wrong place, and receivables nobody chased because nobody could see them.

Who it is for

Agencies and studios

Anyone billing a mix of retainers, milestones and fixed fees, where no two clients are on the same arrangement.

Service businesses

Recurring billing with variable usage, discounts and instalments, which is where generic invoicing tools stop being adequate.

Businesses billing across borders

Multiple currencies and tax regimes on one ledger, without maintaining a separate system per country.

8 modules, and you can turn off the ones you do not need

Every organisation uses a different subset. Nothing here is billed for twice, and nothing you disable clutters the interface for your staff.

Quotes and estimates

Send a quote, have it accepted online, and convert it into an invoice without retyping a single line item.

Recurring invoicing

Retainers and subscriptions issued on schedule, with proration, pauses and mid-cycle changes handled rather than worked around.

Multi-currency

Invoices issued in the client's currency and reported in yours, with the exchange rate recorded at issue so your accounts reconcile later.

Tax and VAT handling

Rules per jurisdiction, applied automatically from the client's location, including the reverse-charge and exemption cases that catch people out.

Payments

Payment on the invoice itself through bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, ShurjoPay, Stripe or PayPal, plus manual reconciliation for bank transfers and part-payments.

Reminders and dunning

Scheduled chasing that escalates politely and stops the moment payment lands, so nobody is asked for money they have already sent.

Client portal

Clients see their invoices, payment history and outstanding balance without emailing you to ask for a copy.

Reporting and exports

Receivables, ageing, revenue by client and period, and clean exports for your accountant or accounting package.

A subscription, on your domain or ours

You subscribe to this rather than commission it. The subscription covers hosting, updates, backups and support, and Starter and Growth are published prices below; a business billing across six tax regimes past that is scoped on a call, because it is a different system to run even when it is the same product.

Hosted by us

We run it, patch it and back it up. It can sit on your own domain, so the client portal and every invoice link carry your name rather than ours, or on ours if you would rather not manage DNS.

On your own infrastructure

Where financial data has to stay on systems you control, it is deployed there instead, on a tier that covers the licence, updates and support. You operate it; we keep it current.

Pricing

Two published plans, and a call for anything past them

Multi-tenant instance - shared infrastructure, billed per account.

Starter

$3/mo

The core invoicing features for a single business, on shared multi-tenant infrastructure.

Growth

$10/mo

More features, more team members and multiple companies or brands on one account.

Custom / Enterprise

Scoped on a call

Multiple issuing entities, unusual compliance needs or anything past the two plans above - scoped on a call, not listed here.

How deployment works

Configuration and data migration on a system that already exists, which is why it takes weeks. A bespoke build of this size would take a year.

  1. Model your billing rules

Every business has a handful of arrangements it treats as exceptions. We document those first, because they are what off-the-shelf tools could not handle and therefore why you are here.

  2. Migrate open receivables

Outstanding invoices, part-payments and client balances are imported and reconciled to your figures. Historical data is imported read-only.

  3. Run one billing cycle in parallel

The first cycle is issued from both the old process and the new one and compared line by line before anything is switched off.
