Azyea: a Shopify ecommerce store for a clothing brand
A fashion designer with a real catalogue was running the entire business through a Facebook page and WhatsApp. Orders went missing in the message queue, nothing tracked stock, and the whole thing was capped at what one person could reply to.

The challenge
Everything happened in a chat window. The business ran on a Facebook page and WhatsApp with no website, no invoicing and no organised product listings, which works until it does not: orders were lost in the message queue, nothing tracked what was actually in stock, and growth was capped at the number of conversations one person could hold at once. This was not a hobby seller testing the water. The catalogue already existed and was properly developed - the way of selling it was the constraint.
What we did
We built the store on Shopify rather than from scratch, because a clothing brand needs payments, inventory and order management that already work rather than a bespoke system it would then be responsible for maintaining. The design started from a sample the client had chosen and was customised in Liquid, with the Shopify API used where the catalogue and the brand's requirements did not fit what the theme gave us. What came out is organised listings, stock that reflects reality, and a checkout that does not depend on anyone answering a message. Roughly three months from start to launch.
The outcome
Live since 2024 and selling steadily for two years, still maintained by us. The change itself is the result here: a business that was losing orders in a message thread, and could not grow past one person's replies, now runs on infrastructure that tracks what it sells.
